Calling yourself a child of God means nothing if you can't back up your claims, it's something you have to earn and not by mere words.
We all claim to be sons and daughters of the Lord, but in all sincerity our daily attitudes, actions and secret lifestyles makes the lord feel childless everyday.
Be honest to yourselves, there's this thing or some things you do daily that always deprive you of that claim. Being a child of God means to always be sincere to yourself and to willingly honoring His laws and commandments to the last latter, without twisting any or trying to justify your actions. You need to whole heatedly despise anything He hates because you respect, truly love and always want to please Him.
Most importantly people will see the resemblance, they will see Jesus through your activities and actions. You can't claim to be that of the Lord and yet play Satan's games, it's not possible, you have to belong to one and one only.

It's easier for you to claim to be a child of the most high God, but when it's time to prove your allegiance or just how devoted and committed you're to Him, your faith disappears and it's quickly replaced with excuses that allow your heart to be filled with doubt and stupid questions like; if He even exits, "How disappointing." You can't claim to be sons and daughters of the EVER LASTING FATHER, when you have the DNA of Satan and his wicked blood running through your veins. 
It's heart breaking to realise that most Christians completely believe in the existence of Satan, while they always question the existence of God... "Not openly most of the times but within themselves.'

How sad "the more people claim to be children of God, the more childless God feels" WHY IS THAT???.

People now claim that Christ resurrection on Sunday made it the Christian Sabbath. But neither Christ nor His apostles gave any honor to the day.
