On the outside, many people look as if they have it all together, while on the inside they are very unhappy. It may be broken home, the death of a loved one, some sickness or disease, financial difficulty, the loss of a job or something important.
Although we may seem to manage ourselves for a while, sooner or later we begin to fall apart in one way or another if we don't receive help.
Some of us struggle all our life because we are too proud to humble ourselves and ask for help. We have others convinced that we are doing OK, but actually dying inside with much to handle.
It often takes some a long time to humble themselves and realize they really need help with everything. They like to believe they can do whatever needs to be done independently and without anyone's assistance.
It's impossible for man to properly run his own life. You and I need help at all time, and a lot of it. Admitting that fact is a sign of spiritual maturity and not a sign of weakness. We are weak unless we find our strength in God, the sooner we face that fact the better off we will be.
Unless the Lord builds the house, those who built it labored in vain. We may be able to build, but what we built won't last if God is not involved in it's construction. He is our Partner in life and as such, He desirer to be a part of everything we do. God is interested in every aspects of our life.
(Hebrews 7:25) Jesus Christ Himself continually intercede for us as He sits at the right hand of God.   And so he is able, now and always, to save those who come to God through him, because he lives forever to plead with God for them.
Therefore, we must continually need God's intervention in our lives. We are always in need of help one way or the other, and totally unable to handle life properly on our own. You can't win your battles without God's help.
