Covenant can only be broken by the supreme power that bind it.
MARRIAGE is a covenant, an oat, the ultimate vow you took before the Holy of Holies. "FOR BETTER FOR WORST, IN SICKNESS AND IN HEALTH, TILL DEATH PARTS YOU. YOU VOWED TO UPHOLD THE COVENANT TILL DEATH PARTS YOU." You took this oat or better still made this vow out of your own free will, you weren't forced convinced or deceived into it.
You maybe free to make your own choices, but you are never free from the consequences of your choice.
What God regards as sin millions of years ago, will still be sin for all times. "THE WORD OF GOD NEVER RETURNS VOID."
As some of you may not know,; God permits divorce only when adultery is involved.
Death alone holds the key that can fully free one from their marriage vows. You willingly took or made those vows before God, Heaven and earth pulse everyone around you that day, bear witness to your vows, so it was written, "TILL DEATH PARTS YOU, and not DIVORCE."
Spiritual maturity is not based on how long you have studded the scripture or the knowledge you have about the Gospel of Jesus or how long you pray in a day or you position in the Church, it is simply based on your understanding and connection with the word of the Lord through the direction, guidance and your Union with Holy spirit. Most importantly, your obedience to his laws, your faithfulness and true humility in all your daily activities.
But now I tell you: If a man divorces his wife, for any cause other than her unfaithfulness, then he is guilty of making her commit adultery if he or she marries again; and the man who marries her commits adultery (Mathew 5-32).
"Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery, and the man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery (Luke/16-18).
A woman is bound to her husband as long as he lives. But if her husband dies, she is free to marry anyone she wishes, but he must belong to the Lord (1 Corinthians 7:39).
For example, by law a married woman is bound to her husband as long as he is alive, but if her husband dies, she is released from the law of marriage. So then, if she marries another man while her husband is still alive, she is called an adulteress. But if her husband dies, she is released from that law and is not an adulteress, even though she marries another man (Romans 7:2-3).
“You have also heard that people were told in the past, ‘Do not break your promise, but do what you have vowed to the Lord to do.
(Matthew 5:33).
