Youth is a time of challenges! As you probably realize, the road of life today has plenty rough spots. It takes courage and understanding to face them. But if you learn early on how to overcome the rough spots, then the rest of the road will become far smoother for you. Each time you win out over a problem your confidence will grow.
Your youth mostly tells a lot about your future; for example: when you live most of your youthful life masturbation or in homosexuality, make all kind of bad friends, do not want to be discipline, drinking and smoking, doing drugs, playing all kind of sexual lifestyle, dating so many girls or boys, you may be telling yourself that this is the best way to have full understanding about what’s wrong from what’s right in life. You may even convince yourself to believe that this is the best way to find a good wife to marry.
Now you tell me if not for the grace of God that some of you are saved, what will have been left of you in the future? Still after the grace and mercy of the Lord, most of you still make even greater mistakes in the future.
I would rather be safe than sorry, if someone tells me that what am doing is a sin before the Lord God almighty, I am going to stop doing it until I conform from the Lord that it’s not. I am not going to hell for any worldly thing, because nothing on this earth can be compared with heaven, and nothing on earth can be compared to the suffering in hell. So set your mind as to where you want to spend your eternity and please for those of you that think just because you believe in Jesus you will get free ticket into heaven, the bible make us to understand that we work out our salvation daily with fear, prayers, faith, total surrender and trembling.
Your youth should be a time when you prepare for your future, a time of so many wonders. It is something like the spring season of the year; youth is a time of fresh vitality, your body is getting stronger and your mind is also developing. It’s a time of many opportunities, a time to learn and understand the power of your mind, it’s an exciting time.
Youth is not just a time when you have lots of freedom, it is the best time for you to learn as much as you can handle, because you won’t have that kind of freedom later on. It’s also an opportunity for you to spend lots of time getting more knowledge and developing your abilities as well as your skills. Youthful age is a time when you have lot of time to learn about and to think about what other people have done or are doing.
Make good use of your youth, the springtime of your life, and get the best out of it. Build the qualities that will bring you grater happiness tomorrow, both in the present and the future.
