Manner of dress distinguishes not just policemen, firemen or nurse; it also distinguishes people whose occupation is dishonorable. Among men those who favor revolt or radical political action have also worn distinctive styles, and so do some homosexuals. Do you want to be linked up with any of those? And if you dress like them and have problem as a result of trying to get an employment or to qualify for certain privileges in a Christian congregation you should not be surprised.
