When you're facing challenges here on earth you need good motivations now and then to get you back on your feet. But when it come to your salvation, motivational words will do you no good, all you need is the truth!! Because the truth is the only thing that will set you free and help you secure eternity in Heaven. Jesus is that TRUTH, for he is the way the truth and the light, no one comes to the Father except through him. If you are one of those that base their salvation on motivational words, you need to know that one can't motivate his or herself into achieving eternal life. It's not by your might or your power but by the spirit of the living God. Motivation can not lead you to Heaven but the truth will.
So if your church is more focus on motivations, you may need to start looking for a living church that teaches the truth and nothing but the truth.
