THE LITTLE HERO
Mary was a seven year old little girl and her father was a pastor. Every Sunday after service’’ little Mary and her dad will go around their neighborhood shearing pamphlets to everyone they met on the road, they even vest people at home to give them pamphlets. One faithful Sunday after service, it started to rain’’ Mary’s dad told her he was a bit tired and that it was raining outside, so they will not be able to go out today to shear pamphlets. Little Mary was disappointed, then she turned to her dad and said” please dad let me go out to our neighbors that are close and shear the pamphlets to them. After much pleading, Mary’s dad finally agreed, then he told her don’t go far and not to stay in the rain for long.
Little Mary put on her rain coat, and was on her way. She sheared all the pamphlets until it remained only one. Then she walked up to this house that was on the far side of their street, and rang the doorbell; but no one answered the door, she rang it again and the same thing happened. But Mary was a persistent little girl; she repeated the same thing over and over again, until finally an elderly woman answered the door. When she opened her door, she was so surprised to see a little girl all soaked and dripping wet at her door step, before the elderly woman could say a word, little Mary smiled at her then said hello” she gave her the last pamphlet she had on her and ran back home.
The next Sunday, this elderly woman came to little Mary’s church and told Mary’s dad that she has a testimony. And she was lead to the altar where she narrated her story.
(THIS WAS HER TESTIMONY). My name is Misses Ann William and I am a widow, though most of you don’t know me because I kept a very low profile since I moved here And this is my first time being in any church. Ever since the death of my husband and my only son, I have lived in constant depression, it was very hard to move on, I felt nothing was worth living for any more, just being alive became a torture I could not escape from. Last Sunday I decided to end it all, just as I was about to hang myself, the doorbell down stairs ranged, “I ignored it at first” then it ranged again, still I ignored it, over and over it ranged; so decided to go see who it was. To my greatest surprise when I opened the door, it was this little girl (pointing at little Mary) that was at my door step, all soaked and wet; before I could say hello’’ she looked at me with this beautiful smile on her face and said hello, I will like you to have this, She then gave me a pamphlet and ran off. I went back inside and closed to door, then I looked at the pamphlet she gave me” what was written on it melted my heart, a feeling I have never felt before took hold of me and I found myself on my knees. I was overwhelmed by this sudden joy and peace that came over me, I could not stop crying; there and then I accepted Jesus into my life and made him my lord and savior. Ever since that fatefully day, my life has change for the best; am no longer depressed, there is so much joy in me, because I know that there is someone that loves me beyond words can ever explain, someone that has loved me from the beginning even when I didn’t love myself.  I am so happy now because I have JESUS in my life.
“These were written on the pamphlet” JESUS LOVES YOU SO MUCH, you don’t have to cry no more, your change is here, wipe away your tears for weeping may endure the night; but joy comes in the morning. He knows you’ve been crying and he understands all your pain, He said it’s ok. He knows you’ve been broken; he is here to mend your broken heart. Just believe and you will overcome, yesterday will be a story, he is your lord Jesus and he wants you to know that nothing is too hard for him to do, don’t forget he made all things. He promises to keep working with you and in you, he said he will never leave you or abandon you. God loves you unconditionally! And he is reassuring you in times of disbelief, that whatever he says he will do, he will do; just give him a chance today to show you just how much he loves you”.

YOUR LITTLE ACT OF LOVE MAY SAVE SOMEONE OUT THERE, WHY NOT DO SOMETHING NICE FOR SOMEBODY TODAY, NO MATTER HOW LITTLE IT MAY BE. Let people see the Love of Jesus Christ through us. God bless you.
