Its best when going it marriage you don’t have much expectation or better still leave it to your imagination, chances are you may not find or have what you were expecting. There are things you should focus on before getting married, for example:
 One thing you should know, is‘‘ there will never be a perfect person out there for you, so don't let anyone fool you. As far as evil runs free, there is no perfect man or woman out there, We all work really hard for our salvation, there is no man or woman living that is without sin or mistakes; Remember we are human, and we are bound to make mistakes. Yes we may find love, but don’t be fooled; just as fire needs wood to keep it going, so does love needs lots of work to keep it alive.

SOME QUESTIONS YOU REALLY NEED TO ASK YOURSELF BEFORE GOING INTO MARRIAGE.
• Do I truly love this person?
• Does this person truly love me as much as I love him/her?
• Will I be able to change this person?
• How will our life together be in 10 to15 years from now?
• What if this person doesn’t change, will I be able to live with him/her?
• Can there be an understanding between us?
• Can this person be a good father or mother to our children?
• What happens if I stop loving him or her, can I still stay married to this person?
• Can I love this person till the end?
• Will this person make a good wife or husband?
• Does this person have the fear of God?
• Is this person honest, loyal, caring, respectful, humble, and more importantly trustworthy?
• Can I depend on this person?
• How will this person treat my family after we get married?
• Am I really ready to get married?
• Can I really see myself growing old with this person?
•  What will my future with this person really look like?
There are many more questions you need to ask yourself before marriage, and you must be honest to yourself; if not you will sealed your own faith, and you have no one to blame but yourself.
